ULTRASOUND BOTH CAROTID ARTERIES

Carotid arteries supply blood from our heart to brain.
This ultrasound screens for plaques that may slow down the supply of blood to the brain and cause stroke.
Recommended to smokers, drinkers and those who have family history of diabetes mellitus, hypertension and high cholesterol.
Detect prostate enlargement and prostate cancer.

ULTRASOUND THYROID

Screening of any lumps in the thyroid.

ULTRASOUND BREASTS

Screening of breast abnormalities like cyst, solid nodule and breast cancer.

ULTRASOUND UPPER ABDOMEN

Screening of liver, kidneys, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen and abdominal aorta.
Detect any tumour or congenital malformations.

ULTRASOUND PELVIS

Female: Screening of uterus, ovaries, cervix and urinary bladder.
Help to diagnose ovarian and uterine cancers, ovarian cysts and uterine fibroids.
Male: Screening of prostate, urinary bladder and seminal vesicles.
Detect prostate enlargement and prostate cancer.

Resting ECG

It measures

heart rate and rhythm
heart enlargement
presence of current or previous heart attacks
size and position of the chambers
the effect of drugs or devices used to regulate the heart (such as pacemaker)

Visceral Fat Analysis

A body composition analyser uses its impedance index to provide scientific estimation of visceral fat, total body fat and waist-hip ratio accurately and hence an effective and affordable tool to diagnose and manage obesity. With its high degree of reproduction and accuracy, regular monitoring of these levels becomes convenient and helps in the treatment of obesity.

INBODY TEST

Examine total body water, fat, protein and minerals.
Reveals percentage of body fat, muscle distribution and body water balance.
Presence of current or previous heart attacks
It can also check on visceral fat level.

LC Prep Pap Smear

Liquid-based Pap test provides advantages over conventional Pap smears, resulting in greater disease detection. We use SurePath-Liquid Based Pap Test which provides advantages over other liquid-based cytology (LBC) tests.

Pre-Marital Health Screening

This is in order to provide medical consultation on the odds of transmitting these diseases to the other marriage partner or the children in the future, and gives options and alternatives before soon to be married with the aim of helping them plan for a health, sound family.

Pre-Employment Health Screening

Pre-employment health screening involves medical assessments of biometric parameters such as height, weight, blood pressure, pulse rate, visual acuity, vision assessment including colour blindness and examination of the cardiovascular, respiratory, central nervous system, musculoskeletal systems, blood and urine analysis with the aim for safer working environment and minimising downtime at workplace.

Vaccinations

Our doctor provides vaccinations to prevent infectious diseases ie travel health protection such as immunisations against Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, influenza, typhoid and meningococcal disease; immunisations against Human Papillomavirus (HPV) for cervical cancer prevention and immunisations against Hepatitis B for liver cancer prevention.

Genetic screening includes screening your DNA for markers that are linked to inherited risk factors for cancers and this is relevant for individuals with family history of cancer.
